I'm building https://productjobsanywhere.com/ to help you get a fully remote job in a great product team.

Scottish laddie living in Valencia, by way of everywhere else.
I used to do Now / Probably Next / Maybe Later.

But then the Later chunk needs to come with some amount of concrete direction or people get nervous that it's all too random.

All of their docs are terrible. Ads, GA, Calendar API, even new AI products.

Very weird and frustrating.

Yes! We had a competitor carbon copy most of our UI, onboarding journey, dashboard etc even the colours.

But it didn't work for them because we'd also done all the hard graft to make the _service_ work elegantly.

Kotor and Perast are chill little towns on the coast, and you can do a boat tour out to the sea.
Hiking up around Mrtvica was stunning. And a trip to drive around Shkodra lake is well worth it, and takes you to Albania directly.

I recommend:

Mauritius and Réunion. Two very different vibes, but I loved my time on both islands. Beach and diving Vs forests and hiking.

The mountains in Montenegro are so beautiful. The people are really nice.

Mexico city. Great if you want city life vibes. Loads of cultures all mixed in.

Happy to report that yesterday we met operational requirements, boss.

Our story was about resigning from McDonald's and going on a drive with our pal to see an iceberg.

To help you find truly remote product teams, I'm building productjobsanywhere.com/, where every team and every job is vetted by a human (me!) to make it super clear which jobs are available in which countries.

I'm adding more companies every day. I'd love to hear any feedback 😊
Product Jobs Anywhere
Easily find remote jobs at product teams hiring around the world.

For YouTube and justin.tv I _think_ the founders stayed on for multiple years. Could that be part of the why?

Although I'm sure there's loads of examples where the founders get stuck just waiting for their vesting period then leave.

Yes! Maps is one of the few apps that I gladly give me data to, because they (seem to genuinely try to) make it beneficial for me rather than it feeling like they're _just_ using my data for ad targeting.

🌟 Some prompts I've used to make my daily reflection more meaningful:
- What from today is worth celebrating?
- What am I holding on to?
- How do I feel about how I spent my time?
- How's my overall vibe been?
- Is there anything I'm overthinking or avoiding?
- What action should I take tomorrow?

5 - Have an honest conversation with yourself to reflect every day.

Keeping a diary of events isn't very useful for me. But taking 10-15 minutes to ponder and reflect and be with my thoughts is hugely helpful.

Over time you start to see your own good/bad patterns too.

4b - And accept that some days are going to be downers.

You'll occasionally get ill. You'll have rubbish sleep now and then. You'll slip on a good habit.

Not every day is going to be amazing, and that's normal and fine. ONWARDS!

4 - On grumpy days, take some time to think about where the huff is coming from. For me it's often either repeated lack of exercise, or I felt like I didn't show up for myself.

(I think this is about living to your values, but that still feels a bit woo-woo to me)

3 - Be honest about what activities drain you and try to cut them out.

I find it boring sitting on the couch watching tv,
I feel like a slob after getting food delivery,
I ruminate when I feel like I've not tried my best at work,
I feel down when I've stayed indoors all day.

IN THE BIN!
