Greyhound racing is still a thing in NZ and the industry is fighting the ban due to come into effect in a year.

Today I was part of a peaceful protest: we were holding a big banner ("Stop greyhound racing", first photo), had signs, and were recording footage.

Pretty terrifying to watch the "Land of the Free" or whatever become a fascist regime at high speed. Hard to imagine the range of consequences it will have on everyone, in the States and abroad.
