i guess i never really read urbain/taunie as being an antagonistic/oppositional thematic presence like that? i always read AZ as like the emotional/thematic core of the story rather than them, but maybe i'm just biased because i really like AZ.

sorry, it's just. i've seen multiple people say the ending is bad or abysmal and i just. don't agree, but i don't know why i don't agree. it's weird.

is it about what the ending does or doesn't have? because the worst i can say personally is that it's weird they saved resolving the plot thread they did for so far into the postgame. i also can't tell if this is another case of me being easily pleased and not recognizing objectively bad writing
