If it’s a legitimate and lawful seizure, it’s a good example of why it’s bad idea for the federal government to burn away all of it’s credibility on total nonsense, so there’s none left to use in moments when you need it

Yes, that's horrible. SCOTUS has frequently in the past year turned the concept of the status quo ante upside down and misused the emergency stay process.
