This is Cleo. She was too good for this world. She loved high places, let me pet her belly, was absurdly friendly, and rode around on my shoulder. As an old cat, she lived with a newborn for four years, and never showed the least bit of irritation, though no one would have blamed her.

Woke up to this. Daughter can’t figure out why I’m disturbed, and won’t let her decorate the ceiling this way.
