Actually, no. We understand the reason someone would be fearful of bringing up such a heavy topic out of concern that it could put the idea in their head or make them angry. Research shows that this is not the case.

🧠 Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) is real, valid, and often misunderstood.

DID develops as a response to significant trauma and is not the same as mood swings or a personality quirk. Those living with DID deserve respect, understanding, and access to informed care.
