Anti-fascist. Why can’t we be decent to each other? Trump has been a blight on common decency.

Happy Pride month! 🌈
So cool. Yours?

My young adult kids are terrified about AI. I think that’s a general sentiment of Gen Z.

That's a tough but really good read. I love how you take on the "this is normal" & "everyone does it" tactic of Trump cultists in defending his corruption. It drives me crazy how often a continuum of bad behavior is reduced to an either/or binary as if all the behaviors on the continuum are equal.

It's refreshing to see a piece in the NYT opinion pages describing the grift in such clear and concise manner.

Corruption permeates every aspect of civilian life when normalized. Ask immigrants! Jafar Panahi's brilliant IT WAS JUST AN ACCIDENT has great examples of the casualness of corruption.

I love how you combine theory, history, and an aggressive pursuit of current facts.

A paragraph like this, without the earlier context, would read as a thought experiment. The details make it infinitely more urgent.

"We could become Hungary/Putin's Russia" vs "We ARE becoming"

Fabulous piece. 🙏 hosting MBS, defending the indefensible is an assault on us all.
