Being adopted gave me a lot of abandonment anxiety-so security in all things became the goal - i worked in museums + the arts for a bit but when moving back home I found a gov. Admin Job during covid and it fit the dream-so I stayed. I just became fully vested and will retire at 55. Not a bad deal.
