IU used to be the thing marooned Hoosiers could point to when asked "Why the fuck did you move to Indiana?!?" Not anymore...
Indiana's governor fired all the elected members of Indiana University's Board of Trustees. Given a recent policy change, he'll be able to fill those seats with appointees. Which means he'll basically have unilateral control over IU decisions, including who gets hired, tenured, and fired.

Had to go to the ER last night (I'm fine). General vibe is cops, guns, and yelling at people without insurance, especially if they're on drugs. All before police brought a DUI who was cuffed and told to puke into a plastic bag without help, and then three gunshot victims followed.
