Why do some people start eloquently to talk about validity of same-sex marriage when I explain my research on LGBTQ+ rights norms and its implementation? I
am personally in firm support of same sex marriage in Japan, but I do not talk about same sex marriage in my research.

マイクロアグレッションなんて気にしすぎたら病的な社会になる、まあそうかもしれない。日常の発言全てを鬼の首を取ったように騒ぎ立てるのも違うと思う。けど、言われる側にしてみたら、小さな傷がずっと積み重なったら、そしてそれに気付かないふりをし続けたら、いつのまにか取り返しのつかない傷になっちゃうんだよ。コミュニケーションを閉ざしてはだめだけど、少しでも気をつけようとする努力はできると思う。
