The only fair criticism of Stranger Things I’ve heard so far. And boy are there a lot of unfair ones out there. ST did 5 seasons in almost 10 years. Had to maneuver an epidemic and a strike. But still delivering the goods at the end. Good job by the Duffers and team.
It is also truly mind-boggling that the Duffers went on and on about how important The First Shadow was to the TV series, then did literally nothing with the reality-breaking revelation that the show’s big bad went to high school with Hopper and Joyce.

Just a friendly reminder that the Lakers beat the living snot out of Morey’s Rocketsin the bubble. What was he doing risking life and relationships during a pandemic down in Orlando if it’s not for a legit NBA title?

LeBron was 6th in MVP and second team all NBA. He deserves his max contract. And the fans deserve to have championship expectations from their max player. Every conversation that denies either fact is disingenuous.

The movies and books and music make it seem that America is an open and welcoming place. It is. In part. Within measures. But it is also a place where they fear what they aren’t comfortable with.
I’ll be real honest, folks. I do not get the meltdown about Mamdani. Like, I get possibly arguing he’s a lightweight but all I see is a massive, over the top, complete crash out about him. I mean, it’s racism, I get that, I know, but it’s like politicians and journalists contracted the rage virus.

Also, ANYONE convincing you the government should be "run like a business" should NEVER be trusted. It's not a business. Businesses only care about PAYING CUSTOMERS. If they can't extract some value from the interaction, they don't want it.

Not a big fan of white lotus. Great acting. Great set production. Great directing. Just can’t get excited seeing rich white people w existential crisis. I do however like that they don’t bring in A listers. Let’s keep it Parker Posey and below star wattage but keep the storyline interesting.
