WIP Wednesday saw the completion of the Terminator squad. Had my first go at a power weapon, which turned out solid I think. Due to picking up a local crusade, I'm pivoting now to my Tyranids, so another test model for them was in order. #warhammer40k #minipainting #spacemarines #tyranids

Final round up for Sept'ember. Pretty solid addition to the force. I look forward to adding more after I finish the starter boxes.

Productive #wipwednesday, with the new XV8 squad nearly finished, and some bonus progress on the Farsight proxy. #warhammer40k #minipainting #tau #tauempire

Printer's been hard at work the last couple weeks, and combined with the pieces from the Leviathan box, I've got a decent little tableful of terrain. Or at least I'm starting to. #3dprinting #warhammer40k

Good progress on the Pathfinders yesterday evening. After some paint on the bases and maybe a little highlighting, I think I'll call them done.

WIP Wednesday, it's the Pathfinders. Could honestly call 'em done after boots, lenses and bases, but I'll probably want to do a little more.

Getting into the full swing of Sept'ember with both minis and terrain (there are more Pathfinders, but they start as a team of 2 in DoW)

Finally fixed my air filter setup, so I'm printing full steam again. Started with some objective markers. Gonna have to see what Greater Good stuff I can scrounge up for Sept'ember. Pretty sure I have some Dawn of War terrain.

Some progress happened on WIP Wednesday. Still on unsure footing with the blast effect, but it does look nicer than I expected. #warhammer40k #minipainting #spacemarines

Took some family shots of the minis I've finished since starting to hobby again in May. Exciting to see the slow transition from rows of gray to ranks of an army. #warhammer40k #minipainting #spacemarines

Finished my first squad in probably 3, maybe even 4 years. Feels good to be back in the saddle and hobbying regularly. #warhammer #warhammer40k #minipainting

Finished building everything in my starter boxes, primed much of it and now...real painting again. I'm splitting the Space Marines from the boxes into Blood Ravens, Salamanders, and one of my homebrews. #warhammer #minipainting

Player: Who’s this guy?

DM: I’m glad you asked! They are Arcellius Kanen, the high lord and—

Player: No I mean the Kobold sitting behind him.

DM, unsure: Oh. Uhh...that’s Kyle and...he likes hugs?

Player: I want to talk to Kyle the Kobold.

DM: *sigh* Of course you do.

*At least* $95 billion.

The return on investment from NIH dollars is one of the best there is.

Also: I personally like the benefits from modern medical technology, dental care, ophthalmological care, and more I am sure as I age.
New report shows that NIH grants fueled $95 billion in economic activity and 407,782 jobs in 2024.

That's not to mention the countless lives that biomedical research has saved.

Show me a better investment than that.

Put on It: Chapter 2 for the first time and the opening voice-over sounds like John Cena.

Almost got through the Tyranids of the Leviathan box today, but between a DnD session and Nosferatu viewing, some have to be left for tomorrow. #warhammer #warhammer40k #FilmSky #dnd

Haven't managed a hobby streak, but still cracking away at the pile of potential. Today, the Astartes contingent of the Leviathan box answered the call. Hopefully tomorrow, the Tyranid invaders follow. #warhammer #warhammer40k
