i sifted through my wips but couldn’t find anything so i’m offering something from the opposite side of the spectrum.
Taehyung halted just two steps from where Jimin stood at the top of the stairs. He's so close now, Jimin could've easily kissed his forehead, framed by his angelic locks. 'I beg your pardon, sir, but I do not have a single silly bone in my body.' Tachyung's mouth fell open in mock-offense. In the shadowy cleft of the stairway, his lips were two blots of ink. Jimin doused the urge to smudge them with his thumb. Ink stains were horrible to get rid of. Instead, he asked, 'What are you doing down here?'

Despite the fact that they haven't crossed paths often, barely talked apart from the occasional stilted hello you throw an almost-stranger, he can conjure her up seamlessly: The soft swell of her chest under her t-shirt as she carries box after box into the apartment downstairs. Her dark hair, damp with sweat, curling at the nape of her neck as he opens the door to her knocking. Her milky legs, speckled with a conglomeration of mosquito bites among inky leaves that seep from under the seam of her jeans shorts. Her lips, rosy and brittle like petals drying out at the edges from the summer heat. They barely move as she speaks. My uncle and I she gestures vaguely —we're renovating the apartment downstairs. It could be a little loud, she says, threading together her words like an endless string as if afraid of leaving too much space between them.

The warm wetness of his mouth, his tongue against hers, the low sounds in the back of his throat as their kiss grows filthier, his hips finally twitching against her, pathetically almost. She wants her lips to hurt tomorrow, her skin to bruise where he grabs her to flip them around, so she can straddle him. She wants to take the pain home as a souvenir; as a reminder that this really happened. That this isn't just another episode that rolls past in her imagination at night, head pressed into her pillow, fingers squelching between her legs.

Excellent choice
Throughout the past year, Jimin had tried not to dwell too much on the implications underneath the guise of a young gentleman touring the continent. Of course, Tachyung had relished the opportunities offered by cities like Paris; Jimin would've just preferred them to stay tucked between the blank spaces of the closely written letters that Taehyung had sent him. To remain vague silhouettes, briefly mentioned characters in a novel who faded into obscurity as soon as one turned the page rather than reminding Jimin that he wasn't... that he would never... that he...

Namjoon wiggles around to the beat of the music. Over the bobbing, swaying puddle of heads, their eyes meet. Namjoon smiles at him. Lifts his hand to give him a tiny wave. Warm tingles again. They spread deliciously in Jeongguk's stomach, bubble up in his chest, pull the corners of his mouth like a rubber band, ready to sling a spitball at the back of your crushes head in the middle of class. But before Namjoon can comb the projectile out of his hair with his rangy fingers and scan the classroom for the culprit; before Jeongguk can shyly lift his hand just enough to catch his attention, and mouth that it was an accident that he didn't want to hit him, Namjoon's attention gravitates to someone else.

not wednesday but here’s a snippet of something i wrote today.
In hindsight, there were signs of Namjoon and [redacted] relationship failing. A hairline crack that is easy to ignore. Just a trace of usage, of time. A moment of negligence. A flask of cologne, or a jar of moisturizer that slipped from your grasp, chipping off a miniature piece of the layer holding everything together. It's fine. It's going to be fine. Happens to the best of sinks.
