Found them. This was 6 months after I shaved my head the last time in 2021. My barber asked if I'd let him style it & of course I said yes. The slicked hair made me lol, the other 2 pics are how I style it. Real Egon Spangler business. Now I think I wanna shave my head again.

2025 - A disco ball skull in the library, small points of light everywhere in a beam of afternoon sun.

My husband, Dracula, is the coolest. I forgot about these boxes he made for #HeroQuest expansion packs he’s had since the early 90’s (a childhood friend gave him) sans boxes. He created the interior structures too! Just an absolute dreamboat. Gosh, I <3 him. #TTRPG #tabletopgaming #DIYorDie
A wooden box picked up from a craft store with hinges on the back a side and a small metal closure to hold it shut on the opposite side. The box is painted purple with the words HERO QUEST along the top in gold with a grey stone like bit behind it. In the center is a bit with an image from the original Hero Quest expansion pack design for Return of the Witch Lord. I don’t play, so stick with me here. It looks like there is a muscle bound barbarian looking person in a red furry sexy lil loin cloth and no shirt. They are straight up nips out. They also have the same Bettie Page blunt bangs dyed black bob I had for years. You can’t see it here, but in the original art by Les Edwards this big angry person is kneeling in some equally flirty furry boots and they’re chained with shackles to the floor of what sort of looks like an arena for fighting. In the background is a dual sided staircase leading up to a platform with a pretty horny leering royal looking skeleton sitting on a throne. They’re leaning forward like they are really enjoying what they see here. This painting is equal parts sexy and scary. Real fearboner territory. It was painted with acrylic paint by hand by my husband, @dunstonchecksin.bsky.social, in 2023 or 2024. He is truly the total package. The interior of the purple wooden box laid wide open in a two photo collage. The top photo is a close up of the deeper interior where he holds some of the larger expansion pack pieces with a foam stone wall (he also made himself) painted like grey stone that cordoned off the minis. The bottom photo shows both sides from above so you can see the interior of the lid that has elastic straps he installed to hold the rule book. All done by hand by my Dracula-husband. Again, this is a game I don’t play, and the image is a little less straight forward to me than the Return of the Horny Skeleton Royalty one… so please stick with me here. My best guess, there is this white bearded and armor clad dwarf looking character who is coming through the back end of an “ohhhhh big swing” (imagine me saying that to a child or a cat stretching). They’ve got a big ol’ axe in their hands and a sword in its sheath on their belt. On the left is what looks like an orc. It’s all green with a blue blouse on. Super casual like they were on their way to a Tinder date at a cafe but came across a LARP event at the park by the train station and got distracted. Our big baddie is this sort of stone or sand or golden behemoth. I am honestly unsure of whether it is absolutely as the day it was born naked or if it’s wearing clothes the same color as it’s body-ody-ody. All I can tell is that it has a real Skeletor coded BDSM harness with a lil skull on it like a proper weirdo on and a helmet with what looks like flat horns? Their gaping maw is wide open with sharp teeth and those paired with the grabby hands says, “C’MERE SEXY LET’S TUSSLE LIKE CAPTAIN KIRK.” Again, that Dracula is something else isn’t he? Americana in the record store. - First City Records in Marietta, Ohio. This has been our go to place to buy new and used records. Always trying to grow our physical music collection and broaden our horizons.

I drew a box turtle In my journal today & I’m pretty pleased with how it came out. I don’t really draw anything realistic ever so this even sort of looking like a turtle was fairly surprising. Everyone say wazzup to Donny. #WAZZUPDONNY

The Long Hollow Hall - Torrance State Mental Hospital - outside of Blairsville, PA - Taken sometime in 2002 or 2003 on film with my Pentax K1000
A film photo down a long hallway with rooms off each side and a black door with a window in the top at the end and what I think was an electrical box. The building was an abandoned mental hospital with a basement and a second floor that was almost entirely rotted through. The walls were plaster and crumbling with various layers of peeling paint. The floors along the walls were piled with crumbling building detritus. When you walked it would crunch underfoot. I used to take baby steps into urbex (urban exploration) and would sometimes stay the night here just to see what it was like. The structure has long since been torn down.

These 2 photos are approx 30 years apart. The blue sunset photo taken on film w/a Pentax K1000 in 1995 & the orange/purple sunset w/my Nikon D5600. I’ve been taking photos of textures, abstracts, cemeteries, powerlines, & the sky for 30 yrs & that feels very nice.

This AM I made what is quite possibly the nicest omelette I’ve ever made. I’d say about 80% of the time I end up having a scramble bc I mess it up. Today it came out lovely. Red bell pepper, yellow onion, fresh spinach, & egg w/a little green onion chopped, shredded sharp cheddar, & sriracha.

Decision: I’m painting the eagle mirrors copper. I have a whole stack of other small mirrors that I’m gonna paint a variety of rich vibrant colors seen in the below picture from 2 other mirrors I thrifted years ago & repainted. We’re also doing ceiling hooks over the bath for big hanging plants.
Two small 8 sided mirrors that originally looked like faux wicker painted white. Likely Home Interiors wall art. I painted both in a repeating color pattern comprised of red, orange, yellow, light blue, turquoise, dark deep blue, and a plum color. You can see my hand holding on up against the deep emerald green wall.

This is why I’m so mad about Ai this AM. I went out to practice low light photos in the cold & ALMOST SHAT MY PANTS bc I was too far on my walk. I am bad at night photos but 3yrs ago I promised myself I’d practice, just to have slop-hogs out here making fake photos. I NEARLY SHAT MYSELF FOR THESE.

When I want a beautiful photo of myself I do the fucking work. I plan an outfit, I do make up, I take a ton of photos & try poses/lighting. I don’t need Ai to help me bc I did the whole goddamned thing myself. I put together the outfit. I set up the lights. I edited them. Do the work. FUCKING TRY.

Help me make a decision… I painted the bathroom green, then painted my medicine cabinet frame copper. However I am now doing a hall of mirrors w/a bunch of these plastic Syroco mirrors & wood square ones. Do I paint the Syroco copper? Do I paint the medicine cabinet mirror gold? HELP.
