the university is unrecognizable from what it was before abbott became gov. it’s wild to consider that rick perry somehow was better for academic freedoms, and general constitutional rights.

the state doesn’t regulate home schooling so when parents withdraw and say they are homeschooling, we have no way of verifying they actually are getting an education. i’m seeing more and more students withdraw from local public schools as the state dismantles them legislatively here in central tx.
