I'm on the Senate floor right now debating Trump's Big Ugly bill, and I really worry Americans do not fully realize just how bad it is.

Please help get the word out.

This is just SOME of what's in the bill (so far).

Days after Trump bombed Iran, Republicans are still hell-bent on passing the largest cuts to Medicaid in history & kicking 16 million Americans off their health care just to give tax breaks to billionaires.

We can and must respond to both. No war with Iran. No cuts to Medicaid.

Cargobikes are also great for hauling your 10 year-old car battery to the auto parts store for a replacement.

I started humming part of the theme tune and am now listening to the PeeWee’s Big Adventure score while riding bikes at rush hour. Highly recommend!

Sending Marines to face off against citizens on U.S. soil is fundamentally un-American, a MASSIVE waste of taxpayer dollars, and an insult to our servicemembers.

A dangerous and needless escalation by a wannabe dictator.

Everyone must speak out against this abuse of power.

I think a big part of the reason some people love bikes and other people hate bikes is this shared understanding that the bicycle itself is a symbol of rebellion and anti-establishment independence.

South Tacoma Way is the Car Town part of Tacoma. I love finding excuses to bike through there, even if it’s when I’m waiting for my car to get serviced. (Note: I don’t wear my helmet when biking sidewalk speed on a sidewalk.)

Garage sale at mile 24/27 of a rec ride had the perfect things for little nibling’s visit next week. Also, my groundscore game was on fire! #everybikesacargobike #bikesonbikes

Maiden voyage for copilot Mr. Bill to Trivia at a waterfront Tacoma brewery. I parked closest to the door 🍻 🏆 and turns out 24” bmx cruisers can also fit completely assembled in a hot hatch hybrid for a ride home. 💜

Still smiling from the fun times at Transit Trivia last night! Our team, Boops On Wheels, got 2nd place. Impromptu bike bus to the event was a fantastic bonus. Thanks @downtownonthego.bsky.social and all the great transit partners.

Restored functionality of a broken seat latch lever in our 20 year old van using a bicycle brake lever that’s way older than the van.

Why not a sizable automobile tire fee (purchase or disposal)? It would hit gas/hybrid/elec/diesel the same and be a per/mile use tax in disguise. (Isn’t it the tires that are killing us anyways?)
The proposed transportation budget that was just released by the Washington State Senate includes a 10% surcharge on e-bikes, and a vehicle registration fee for public transit operators along with a removal of the exemption of public transit vehicles from paying tolls.

Paris was NOT built like this... it's in process.
Streets in front of schools are unsafe, drivers too fast, pollute classrooms nearby.
Solution? SCHOOL STREETS.

Doable anywhere.
Watch 30 min. video & share. #Cities4Everyone.
