Neighbor's house in Midorigaoka, a lifetime ago. Shot on Kodak Plus-X, a film type discontinued in 2011.

Not sure where the trace of color came from. Perhaps the paper stock, or maybe the flatbed scanner I rescued from a junkpile?

On my last day of work, back in '24, I caught sight of this little beauty as I walked by an unused office on my way out to the parking lot. In the spirit of 𝑂𝑓𝑓𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑆𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑒 I tossed it into my box of belongings and out the building I went. What were they gonna' do, fire me?

Just stumbled across a couple of shots I took on Tri-X film, ages ago in Japan. My sweet little Japanese bobtail kitty, found eating garbage behind a restaurant. Barely weaned and so tiny she fit into a raincoat pocket. These are after she'd been with me a few months. I miss her a lot.

Pretty meager Greek oregano harvest this year 😞

That's barely more than half of last year's haul. The Sicilian was even more disappointing.

I'd mistakenly presumed that since most homes in Florida are anchored to their foundations that mobile homes would be anchored to the ground, as well. Apparently not. EF1.
This is what a direct hit of a 90-mph #tornado does to a mobile home! Wait for it... house falls right back into place.

One of several irises growing about the yard. The blue ones were planted but I've no idea where the yellow ones came from.

It's early May. Some flowers are fading fast, while fuzzy fliers rush to collect the last morsels of pollen.

The weather has barely begun to turn warm and the chocolate mint is already going bonkers. Yardstick on the left.
