I power through my first draft just to get it out there. That might be why I'm spending an hour on a single paragraph now.

Most of us do use version control. And I do have the old version. However I have yet to find an opportunity to reuse a scene in a different project.

That's why I focus on getting the first draft done. It's done now I just have to make it better.

I have no problem killing anything or anyone in my writing. It just takes time. Some days I can edit a chapter in a day, sometimes it's a page. It's all part of the process.
