I apparently really like designing and writing main characters that introduce logistical challenges into commonplace interactions.

Example 1) A woman who is short for a human (5'2") with a lover who is tall for what is essentially a goliath (8'6"). Want to kiss? The big lady had better be sitting.

In lieu of socializing, I spent my New Year's Eve drawing and inking this! I was trying to decide what a Nubian-inspired couatl would look like for my setting - initially I thought to use Wadjet as a reference point, but Wadjet represented Lower Egypt (aka the furthest region from Nubia) (1)

The Planescape Factol's Manifesto. Lots of great lore and hooks for players and GMs alike. Spent a lot of time on the streets of Sigil:

Recreated Sun Wukong in Age of Wonders 4. Went stone-skin transformation because Sun Wukong *is* a stone monkey, along with supergrowth (he can become enormous in the book), and the Tome of Prosperity/Discipline buffs, to represent his eventual enlightenment. Was a very fun build.

Since the follows have been crazy today, I'll share a work of art I did last year - still one of my favorites so far, though. Its a depiction of Ayida-Wedo, the Rainbow Serpent of the Vodoun Religion and its diasporic offshoots.

So...uh...I'm not going to make a habit of posting numbers, cause it feels like a humblebrag or something, but I was at *97* this morning. The power of getting included in a starter pack, apparently!

In spite of everything, I've been making slow, steady progress on coloring Eshu-Legba and his pipe.

Opening snippet of a prequel I'm writing to my unpublished series.

Just finished inking the linework for my second short story's cover art. It shows Eshu-Legba smoking a pipe carved in the style of Yoruba masks to depict his Asante alter-ego/counterpart/friend, Anansi. More on the figures in the smoke once I finish and post the story.

I'm not super familiar with the Book of Esther, but I've included a map of the Achaemenid Empire. A cursory look on the interwebs claims that said empire was still at its greatest territorial extent during the reign of Xerxes I (Ahasuerus), so it seems the Book of Esther was more or less correct.
