Even if the $5,000 ends up being real, I don’t want it. While 5k is helpful, everyone individually having a temporary 5k is NOT better than what we can do with it:
-Financial protections
-Environmental and park land protections
-healthcare and education for the masses
and the list goes on

Education isn’t memorizing that Hitler killed 6 million Jews. Education is understanding how millions of ordinary Germans were convinced that it was required. Real education is learning how to spot the signs of history repeating itself. We must never forget what hate does to us.
