Also, I just realized that I haven't been talking about the US women's team. I AM keeping up with them! I will try and post something about them in the next few days. As of right now USA women's hockey is 4-0 in games, with only one point scored against them across all four games. Nice.

I don't know. I just think about them a lot, whether it's through a screen or me cheering extra hard in person when one of them has the puck. So, if you see this, take a second to manifest some point streaks for these guys with me :)

I'm happy that we've got Schmidt and England and Kosick and Gard and Gramer carrying us so hard right now. But I also miss cheering for *these* guys, you know? While the Thunderbirds are my first team, these guys are my first players. The ones who got me INTO the sport.

But it's also kind of bittersweet, you know? Because as much as I'm cheering for our team (the team that got me into hockey in the first place), I'm always cheering for these three most of all. And they don't score or get assists as much as they used to.
