Thunderbirds with another win over the Americans, this one 2-1! Goals from Marty and Pekar, which I'm obviously happy about, plus some more aggressive play from our captain which we love to see. Can't wait for the next one :)

Finally caught my first olympic game live, and I was certainly not disappointed by USA's 6-3 win over Denmark. Those were some long shifts and Quinn Hughes alone spent nearly 24 minutes on the ice across the whole game. The stamina was crazy. Great job, boys! Can't wait for USA v Germany tomorrow.

Great night for the Thunderbirds with a 4-1 win over the Americans! Also a great night for me, because Martorana made first star with 2 goals and Pekar got on the board with an assist. Lovsin didn't get any points this game, but he did spend four minutes in the penalty box, so that's something.

Raiders loss 4-3. Not as upset about it as I would've been if the Wheat Kings guy hadn't gone down like that. Honestly, a team deserves a win after going through that. Hope the guy's okay and will be keeping him in my prayers, especially until we hear something more on his condition.

Lovsin, Martorana, and Pekar have been my favorite players for a while now. You honestly couldn't believe how happy I was when Lovsin was made captain after Cootes was traded.
