Not bad. Surprised you didn’t just do different variants. Such as some being LE/Mil marked, Cetme C mags, or even HK mags. All have specific marks and/or finish work, and I believe the Cetme has a different style of ribs for the magazine.

That’s the market now, unless you do it yourself. Or you get lucky on the used market.

Kit builds are the way. Or just buying one already done.

Unlike many sniper rifles, the Mosin PU wasn’t just for elite marksmen. Issued widely, it gave ordinary soldiers the power to deliver long-range, precision fire—reshaping modern sniper tactics. (4/5)

The Mosin PU shined at Stalingrad, where snipers like Vasily Zaitsev used it to devastating effect. Its precision and durability in freezing, brutal conditions gave the Red Army a critical edge. (3/5)

The PU scope was key to the Mosin PU’s success. Its simple post-and-chevron reticle made rangefinding easy, even for less-trained soldiers. Paired with the Mosin’s reliability, it became a game-changing tool for Soviet snipers. (2/5)

In WWII, the USSR needed a precision rifle. By pairing the rugged Mosin-Nagant 91/30 with the new 3.5x PU scope, engineers created a sniper rifle built for accuracy and mass production. The result? The legendary Mosin PU. (1/5)
