Having a strong foundation in nutrition really does make a difference,& I feel like nutrition is sometimes overlooked in pt care! I also hope I would be able to help pts in understanding their eating habits, energy levels,or deficiencies.I want to provide holistic care & empower them in the long run.

I also don’t really enjoy turkey that much, and it’s really hard to get the turkey meat nice and juicy rather than dry, so I think the prime rib is a great alternative (it sounds delicious as well)! I was wondering what type of Vietnamese dishes your family will be making? I would love to try them!

I like the emphasis on giving children more autonomy at mealtimes. This sets healthy boundaries, allowing them to serve themselves, and respecting their “no.” It also can create a better relationship with food as well! Family-style meals can really reduce pressure and help kids feel in control!

It really is super important to recognize how big of a role genetics play in obesity. Understanding that it’s not just outside factors that influence someone’s weight can shift conversations with more empathy, instead of blame and judgment, can make such a difference in how people feel supported.

This is also a major issue for me when trying to eat healthy. DoorDash & UberEats have appealing promos which persuade me to get take out rather than cooking at home. I know meal-prepping is a great way to compensate for the lack of time, but groceries can be expensive & tedious to shop for.

I’ve also noticed that there has been a change in kids gummies. I always hear about the brand Olly, which have sleep gummies for children. Although this can be beneficial for kids who have sleep trouble, it’s also important to talk about the lack regulation & possible overdose on certain supplements.

It’s interesting that keto diet can help with prenatal stress! But,more research still needs to be done bc the study only conducted the diet on rats. It’s also important to note the diet might not be for everyone;could possibly lead to nutrient deficiencies if people aren’t careful with what they eat
