you've got to! I can't recommend it enough tbh, the initial reasoning was that I didn't want to breathe in the fumes, but now I realize how loud the printer was

(i know technically PLA is not toxic, but after being in the same room as my printer for more than 15 mins, I was getting headaches, soo🤷)

finally, there's also the most obvious one - extension availability - i don't think it's fair to judge zed on that front tho

that's easy for me to say, since the plugins i usually use are mostly qol, and i can manage without them - but if you cannot live without a given plugin it'll be a problem

the other reason is lsp - it's insanely slow sometimes. recently i had to make some changes in a nextjs project(small one, literally 2 pages and 5 components), and it take a solid 6 seconds for TS to kick in on change. which is weird, cause when i "restart language server" it's way faster.

it's *almost* good - there are still some core features missing which just make me unable to fully switch. two big ones come to mind:

first reason - git - currently I work with two windows open, zed, and vscode. zed for coding, vsc for git conflicts. for everything else git-related i use the CLI.

I can't recommend stainless steel pans enough. Bought one a couple months back, it took a few tries to get the feel of making stuff not stick to it, but definitely worth it.

Also if you WANT stuff to stick so you can deglaze it later with wine, you get a lot more flavor than from non-stick

Bought it for a home server, didn't do much research - turns out it's not powerful enough :( and the home server community is waaay more advanced than I thought
