developing with remix(remix.run) for the past few months has been a breath of fresh air. it doesn't provide everything(I'd even go as far to say it's missing quite a bunch) but since it's a vite plugin you can work around those(usually)

plus the mental model just...makes logical sense

I'm puzzled how many people think that Europe should weaken the EU and strengthen the nation states. What is the end game here? Become an open-air Disneyland? We don't achieve economic strength by splintering into tiny nation states with different laws and rules on commerce.

finally; a vent hood! with a fan to create negative air pressure in the enclosure

also ordered a volcano hot end to upgrade it further

(I am 🤏 close from just ordering an P1S instead of fiddling with all of this, but sunk cost fallacy keeps me going 🤞)

I think some basic woodworking is one of the best stress relievers as they can be. just making something out of nothing is very satisfying

been using zed editor zed.dev for 3 weeks now(on mac only). for some context, I'm coming from using vs code and worked mostly within typescript ecosystem during those. wanted to share my thoughts so i can link them to colleagues later

finally got around to fixing up my 3d printer, even made a table from scrap wood for it lol

now all that is left is to make dozens of calibration prints and adjust little settings in the slicer again...
