Has anyone noticed that in many videos of #ICE, they tend to record the journalist on a cell phone?
Why is this? My assumption is it’s going to a database in #Palantir.
Is ICE on a commission structure for captured IDs? Are these personal phones or gov issued - why not have body cams?

It’s crazy twitters answer to this was you can buy your own certification - though not that surprising coming from a guy who effectively bought votes for the election.
Bluesky has done a remarkable job of dealing with the post election explosion of new users, but if it wants to take the next step as a trusted platform, a reliable verification system is absolutely necessary.
