I think this version of Paper Yoshi is closer to the more platonic 'ideal' of Yoshi's design. Its probably why I like the film's Design as it feels closer than further even if the eyes aren't as big as I would have liked.

This design gaslights the hell outta me for some reason, especially compared to the 'real' Yoshi.

This scene speaks to me because it defines a dynamic around the kinds of people who critique 'progressive' themes or ideas in media. Sometimes the answers really are simple self-evident truths, and the expression of distaste for those answers is more reflective of you as a person than anything else.

looked up the score for Brave Little Toaster, and yeah, sometimes stuff really does just hits hard. If you are studying film theory or whatever, this film is great for that because it uses A LOT of it and very obviously.

Imma be real, its not the best film or anything. But it genuine and funny and I feel like the art, animation and characters carries it really well, same with the audio design.

I feel weird fixating on this character's design so much as a fan of Borderlands. I am a fan of 'cool guy in mask' as a matter of course, but he almost looks TOO generic. I am not sure what to make of it. Granted, FL4K was my favorite character in BL3 and he was just a robot in a hobo-jacket.
