Just wrote the first post for me and my friends' new blog friday.party/on-foucaults...

It would mean a lot to me if you read/shared it!

Learning infinite Galois theory right now as a first step toward class field theory and it's really cool but some proofs require some really annoying topology I learned years ago and never needed until now. Guess I gotta go learn Tykhonov's theorem again...?

In between Max constantly begging me for attention I've been studying algebraic geometry occasionally. Anyway this random proof feels really elegant to me.

i'm like actually losing my mind over this. they were aware! company email accounts were used!! a decade's worth of evidence of some of the most inhumane bullshit lived on their serves.

but someone saw a tranny once and it made them feel some type of way so that's what they focused on.

ghouls.
As all this disgusting Epstein shit starts surfacing more and more, I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that apparently every major media outlet knew everything and instead spent their time money and energy attacking the trans community.

But in other math news I finished reading and making notes for chapter 2 of Neukirch's Algebraic Number Theory which means I understand valued fields very well now. So that's good!

Dimension theory of schemes is way too complicated for how boring it feels to me. Complicated and boring is also the worst combo for me to actually learn and master it, which is probably going to be necessary at some point...
