Since my painting standards aren't particularly high, these models are now finished. For me, this is enough, and the most important thing for me is that they're painted so as not to disrupt the immersion.

I found a set of color-sorted role-playing dice online, all of which came in small bags. I just had to sort out the 20 and 10% dice, and now I can supply seven commanders with dice. Since you rarely have more than three per side, that's enough to supply my fellow players as well.

Crazy idea. I'll take the map of Ireland from Crusader King III and the Dux Britanniarum rulebook, and then I can play the video game analogically with a few friends.

I've painted the Blue Brigade at Breitenfeld last year, but we decided, that for bases of musketeers would Look much better. It is also easier to form an old fashion tercio.
In a nutshell, I need to paint two bases more for euch of the two regiments of the Brigade.

A few weeks ago, we discussed the options for trying something smaller then 28mm. We realized that we all had the Epic Pike and Shotte starter set. We've assigned the roles and are going to read up on In Deo Veritas. Funnily enough, as a Catholic theologian, I got the Protestants.

Today is a holiday in Germany, so I was able to take advantage of yesterday's games night at the club. We played Longstreet; both armies and part of the terrain are from my collection. In the end, the Rebels won after a few initial difficulties.

A few weeks ago, a friend gave me some MDF kits for ancient Roman houses. It was a great opportunity to build terrain for Song of Shadows and Dust by Ganesha Games.

Last weekend we played Galleys&Galleons by Ganesha Games. US Navy ships captured French privateers in 1798. It was a fun, entertaining game with an elegant and easy-to-understand system.
Miniatures are from Warlord and Hagen Miniatures, the islands are prepainted from Pirates of the Spanish Maine.

I made a few houses for a sci-fi setting. I simply set up two folding boxes, covered the inside with cardboard, and packed all sorts of stuff on the outside. They still need to be painted, of course, but I like the structure, and they were really cheap.

Last night I was in the mood for some crafting. I first built all the models from the Dead Man's Hand starter box. Then I made some Roman highwaymen. It wasn't easy getting them off their molded bases and onto the cobblestone bases.

Unfortunately, I haven't painted anything since the last picture. Before work, however, I spent a few minutes on the balcony looking at some beautiful pictures.

I've picked out something really old: the good old Skaven for Mordheim!
The models are all from the 90s and have been sitting here for a while. So far, only the leader and one mage have been painted. I touched up the primer yesterday, so now we can get started.
