Took the opportunity to clear 10 years worth of dust and frass out from under the stairs.

Emergency drinking water supply is refreshed. Sure is handy having Catholic in-laws - I used sacrament wine jugs!

The recent earthquake (which I did not feel while walking along the beach at Iona Beach Regional Park) was a reminder to update our household emergency water supply. Just checked our stash and haven’t refreshed it in almost 10 years!

I love that we can still find parts for it. Including fuses!

First batch of this season’s shortbread is in the 1964 Moffat. She’s a reliable old girl once you get to know her quirks.

Why are they so critical!?

Starling was pretty pissed when she discovered she had to share a shelf with library books and DVDs.

I’m snuggled up with my cat too! We woke up to a skim of snow and are now awaiting a “cyclone bomb”.
