Today I learned how to do a textured to matte material change in Blender! It’s actually a super simple set up that involves masking. Excited to learn more!

I learned how to make an asset library today for my materials in Blender!

I use a lot of procedural materials when I make 3D art but I’ve never tried to properly organize them.

I think this will speed things up a lot!

Continued working on Kiki some more! She is almost finished I think but I’d like to do more with the background if I can. 💜

I had fun making a procedural book shelf today using Blender’s geometry nodes system. It’s a fun way of creating a lot of stuff for a scene without having to do everything manually. Admittedly it does get complicated very quickly!

It’s Kiki from animal crossing again! I still gotta fix things up a bit, but I got the posing started now 💜😊

Also I’m thinking of doing a glamor shot with her and lots of books. Reading is one of her favorite hobbies after all!

Some more progress for Kiki today! Did some texturing and some light redesigning of her features. Up next is posing and maybe adding some props! 💜

I‘m in the process of redoing this one! Kiki was one of the first animal crossing villages I’d worked on and my first attempt was pretty clumsy. There’s some stuff like the lighting that I did like and I want to see what I can keep as I move forward with the do over 💜

Here is a 3D render I did back in 2021 of Raymond from Animal Crossing (ACNH)! He wasn't my favorite character when he first showed up on my island, but he grew on me. When making this render I learned a lot about texture painting, posing, and how to make some basic clothes.
