I recently spent about 20H up at Breitenbush, courtesy of a generous friend. The return to regular life, even after such a short departure, is... weird.
Such was my enjoyment of the company and environs, it didn't occur to me to take any photos!

Today is WORLD DAY OF FOLKLORE, which has been celebrated as a UNESCO initiative since 2018.
This is the anniversary of the day in 1846 when antiquarian William Thoms first used the term ‘folk-lore’ as an alternative to the more cumbersome ‘popular antiquaries’
