Boston-Based Beep Booper. BA & MS New College of Florida. If your reference # starts with "18.", it's (probably) not my fault.
You also have to have the Dutch outlook on food (which roughly resembles a 50-year-old Midwestern man)

Soy farmers are based because our trade policy is entirely oriented around soybean exports

They say this just as Waymo is rolling out, repositioning them (and Uber) as dinosaurs

Should be extra fancy tonight, it's the first night of "Carmen"

I thought they were talking about the Bonus Army March!

Aeroméxico has a wholly-owned regional (which flies E190s). Canada has AC Jazz and Rouge, but they have scope clauses as well (Rouge has aircraft and route restrictions)

The bug is that they're E175s and CRJ900s instead of E190s and A220s, because of US/CA scope clauses (restricting the size and capacity of aircraft flown by the regional airliners).

Branford NIMBYs are B tier only because CT is an S-tier state. Obviously they aren't building any housing (why do you think all your tradesmen are commuting from Bloomfield?), but they aren't also disrupting a major infrastructure project. They should consider putting chicanes up on I-95.

Isn't the alerter standard on a lot of trains?

It's so transparent when guys like this are working on a map that only shows the US (and then Canada stuff gets filled in later), because how is a connection to Europe higher-priority than a connection between Buffalo and Toronto?

Common in the tropics, especially in places without consistent AC. The last place I lived in in Florida had ones with insulation on the edge.

I buy it. All of those bitcoiners probably still have tungsten cubes lying around, might as well put them to use.

Doesn't explain why the US is the largest air travel market in the world

The US has more permissive eminent domain laws than a lot of other developed countries (esp. Japan or France). China doesn't have a cohesive system and therefore has huge issues with holdouts... www.jtl.columbia.edu/bulletin-blo...

US/CA tourists don't go to Europe for beaches, Caribbean/FL is better on those terms and is 2-4 flight hours away. Madrid is plenty historic in its own right and is a bigger city (= easier connections from US/CA).

We go to Cancun/DR instead of Benidorm/Mallorca.

You might argue that that's a correction from 2002-2004 jingoism and falling in line behind Iraq
