It speaks to the desperation of tech companies that they have to remove options on their new features and artificially make them front and centre to stand even a chance of being actually used

So many concerns in the world right now and yet one that sticks with me is that Shinigami Eyes still won't tell me why said person or organisation is marked as red/green

I shouldn't take coming back to this place too fast or hard, so I'll enjoy some fem Tintin for my sanity

The UK right now is like Tetsuo at the end of Akira: you could plainly see something like this happening for some time, and yet I remain in awe at just how pathetically titanically messed up everything is

French wikipedia is fun because its culture and general writing style is completely different from the english iteration. This banner is low-key funny because the article it's attached to is average levels of didactic for the language.

Brits in the 80s really had a knack for making the most lyrically depressing dance music possible huh?

The Tv Tropes pages for Nostalgia Critic and Homestuck are so bittersweet, because 15 years ago some kids just put in so much effort into making these detailed all-encompassing testaments to franchises that are now ignored at best and actively hated at worst.

I would be way more trusting of the robot who can do my homework if it was a dorky 7 foot-tall hunk of metal who would help me fight back against my bullies and get with the cute girl in class during one magical summer.

Shout-out to Galaxy Champions TV, a mid Smash TV homage I bought for my Switch 4 years ago that is quietly still being updated to this day into a genuinely pretty fun time.

I don't use Instagram much lately, but when I do check it out it seems the algorithm has determined I need a steady diet of important life updates from cartoonists I've never seen before

I think one part that was missing from Contra's video on conspiracies is that cellphones and the internet have made cute fantasy X-Files type conspiracies basically obsolete.

The use of Solina strings in Contrapoints's new video is scrumptious

Desire's debut album is an unrecognized masterpiece, and I'm sad this group's only legacy is relatable Ryan Gosling memes.

I think people who freak out about this should be reminded that a tv movie being as accessible as it is right now (this headline is very misleading) is still a luxury only a few decades old.

I've considered myself "lucky" with the yt algorithm, but today after watching just two LGR videos on microcomputers, I got recommended JonTron and an AI rewrite of the Ace Attorney script.

I know I'm late to this boat, but I'm not particularly mad that the Win or Lose trans subplot itself got cut that's Disney being Disney, I'm mad that the storyboard is the absolute best way Pixar could've portrayed a trans character.

Rambling about Dorley here has been fun, but beyond testing my still fragile tolerance for what public discourse is now, I really hate that my complex inner thoughts and analyses are being rendered as <300 characters slogans now.

The power of Sisters of Dorley is making me a neglectful sweaty shut-in trying to read as much of this doorstopper as possible, and then when I'm done motivating me to do something nice for my body and mind.
