In a Pakistani landfill, Aspergillus tubingensis ate through polyurethane in just eight weeks.

Tests showed it scarred, fragmented, and dissolved plastic films, hinting at a real tool against decades-long waste.

Joe Linton pushed a 15 year old kid. Not to mention he slapped him earlier. Real classy from Newcastle.

Under Biden, thousands of workers who experienced wage theft and other abuses have been granted protection from deportation and authorization to work so they can participate in labor investigations.
These immigrant workers shined a light on labor abuse. Will Trump let them stay?

One of the most important model city-building projects in the world.

“Initially, everyone thought it would cause gridlock. But people adapted. Now we can’t imagine the highway ever being here.”

The fantastic people-place that replaced an elevated highway, transforming a city & improving traffic.

"I tried to see things your way. You're still an idiot."
Owls tilt their head to judge the position and distance of things around them. An owl’s eyes are fixed in position, so they can’t move their eyes like we can.

Why there's no big 'Women's March' this Trump inauguration
The crushing defeat of Kamala Harris has left liberal women exhausted and laid bare racial divides in the women's rights movements that will take some time to heal, more than a dozen activists and organizers told Reuters.

Without Mel Brooks hiring Lynch to make THE ELEPHANT MAN — on the strength of ERASERHEAD alone — he is very likely just a guy who made a weird film at AFI. That whole filmography you love doesn’t happen.

We all need sponsors and mentors and patrons. We need people who believe in us.

Cheonggyecheon is proof that removing highways can make cities better. 20 years ago, Seoul replaced concrete with a stream, and the results are remarkable: cooler temperatures, cleaner air, and 12 million visitors annually.
