The problem isn’t the books themselves; it’s the industry. The term boxes writers in, disrespects genre traditions, and treats readers like they need protecting. Ursula K. Le Guin called them “literary bigots” —and after meeting a few of these gatekeepers myself, I can’t say she was wrong.

Many doctors told me that. Never is relative in ME. Not two cases are the same. Not enough research. But a lot more than 15 years ago (my diagnosis). Be strong you both. And find your own way. 💚 There are good/human doctors out there.
