Less is more. Jules is sweet, deep, simple and profound. Feel-good vibes and amazing acting. And the script is a joy. Sometimes you just need to breath and Jules is pure fresh air. 🍿🍿🍿

A science-fiction thriller set in a near future. Blood Free is a good title but the original “dominant species” gives it a chilling twist. Such good performances, such good plot. 🍿🍿 so hard not to make spoilers!😬

🍎+ is just one of the many producing content labeled as second-screen or two screen. It dumbs down the show so you can follow it while engaging in your social media. A waste of tons of money, good actors & technical skills in a purposeful shitty product. They say you don't care. But do you?

Da Irueojiljini is a superentertaining show. Fast, clever, great design and lovely performances. So bad the cheesy and unnecessary english title when the korean one has a much better tone for the show but, that’s @netflix people! Anyway, 🪔 Enjoy it! 🍿🍿🍿 if you are into kdramas you need to see it😏

Chinese science fiction is getting awesome. In the last 15 years SF writers have developed a unique style and pov. Now tv series like Bu Mian Ri prove they are also a joy to watch 🍿

Great movie based on a very short and complicated story, All you zombies, by Robert A Heinlein. 🕣 superb acting and direction. Sarah Snook performance is just delightful.

Love Epic Fantasy, Romantasy, Space Opera, Biopunk, S&S, Apocalyptic, Dystopian, Space Western, Alternate History, Rococoa… but “speculative fiction”? That label gets under my skin. Publishers slapping it on books to dodge genre stigma, afraid of losing “serious” literary cred or sales.

Robert Jordan wrote one of the most influential series in fantasy. WOT feeds from masters like Tolkien and Le Guin and does a beautiful job when creating a world full of awe. Fantasy is a mirror to life, a way to create empathy and learn of the ways of reality.

Translation State is set in Leckie’s Ancillary Universe. In this space political mystery 3 protagonists will converge to find a missing translator and sie, e and he will ponder the question: are they human?
A beautiful symphony of sensibilities and politics beyond genre and age.

Childhood friendship, adulthood pains, death, the responsibility of creation, and violence are themes scattered across the story and that make it remarkably interesting. The numerous references are just a joy to read and prove how and respectful @silviapark.bsky.social is of the SF genre.
