Today a friend was late to a call because his antivax aunt wouldn't give his phone back. I called her a dumbass. He defended her. Apparently she has "weird takes."

Describing my orientation is really difficult. I'm attracted to feminine people, not exclusively women. If I were a guy, I'd say heteroflexible, but I'm NB so no dice. The closest I can find is finsexual (Fin = Feminine In Nature). Sadly, most people have never heard of it.

Today on wholesome history: the beloved childrens' board game Candy Land was created by schoolteacher Eleanor Abbott to entertain the children in the polio ward they shared. She spent the royalties on supplies for needy schools.

For some reason, awful writing repulses me more anything that warrants a content warning. I made it through a deep dive on fetal cannibalism, but not more than two chapters of My Immortal, no matter how or by whom it's presented. I don't know why that is, and I don't know how to feel about it.
