To the north is the town centre on the Old Hume Hwy, a collection of heritage buildings and cute cafes. Although the life of the town seems to have been taken by a shopping centre about 1km away.

There's a small weatherboard shelter on the southbound platform, but otherwise it's relatively bare. (2/3)

The station is down a short driveway which is lined with several community gardens. Amongst the trees there's a pergola with a mismatch of yard furniture - is this someone's backyard?

Can't lie, it's quite disappointing.

The station is located in the centre of town. To the west is the local supermarket and a handful of shops. To the east is an old country pub.

The northbound platform has a small shelter, while the southbound has the saddest station building I've seen (1/2)

To the west is houses. To the east is an empty lot and the shopping centre beyond. The shops face the main road, and turn their back to the station.

Suburban sprawl brings endless commuters on the Anzac Bridge above Pyrmont? Who cares!?
Moving people into Pyrmont where they can walk, bike, take bus/tram/metro/ferry? A strain on roads!
Traffic woes? Double it and give it to the next person.

The main exit is to a bus stop and drop-off area.
The surrounds are mostly low-density housing. While the station is probably in the geographic centre of the town, the high street is about 1.5 km away. A bit of a shame!

The southbound platform has some small shelters and nice landscaping along it. There's an exit here directly to the road bridge (2/3)

Am I right in saying we are yet to be shown how it'll all fit together underground?
First looks like west exit from Hunter St? Second is east exit from O'Connell St?

The developer, Mirvac, is promoting access to the station as the top feature of the estate - conveniently omitting the train runs hourly and only to Campbelltown.
Would the new residents use the train? Could you call this a TOD?
