“Stand up for all hate.”

Unless it’s an immigrant. Or a trans person. Or a Palestinian.

The anti-semitism Super Bowl ad was so ironic because the people who paid for it also support the ethnic cleanse of Gaza.

Wish they believed their own ad…

Something that I think we can all agree on is that the current generation of Democratic leadership is simply not optimized for the Attention Age. Not really their fault! And honestly, they may be better people for it, but it's a pretty pressing political problem.

The Republicans who thought forcing teachers to go through active shooter drills was a better idea than doing something about guns now expect teachers to let ICE into their classrooms.

I don’t think so.

Some of my LA friends have told me that the problem is climate change, and it is. It’s January for fucks sake. But that doesn’t mean we have to solve climate change to better control fire. If we wait for that, cities will keep burning. There are ways to mitigate risk. www.latimes.com/california/s...
Inconvenient truths about the fires burning in Los Angeles from two fire experts
For years, renowned fire experts Jack Cohen and Stephen Pyne have tried to shift the conversation on fire prevention strategies. This week’s destruction, they say, could have been minimized.

I feel like videogames actually do provide a pretty accurate representation of real life right now because a lot of videogames are like “THE WORLD IS ENDING” and then you just collect herbs and pretend nothing is wrong

So this is where it all began? I might as well blame the Scholastic Book Fair for my obsession with trinkets too. The amount of animal shaped erasers I came home with…
I love buying books and not reading them.

I blame the Scholastic Book Fair for this problem.

I do read some of them… but the pile of unreads is high.
