Art comes from allowing ourselves and our peers to be inefficient. As a society we have been stamping out inefficiency for so long we haven’t realized what we’ve lost.
It's because we all have day jobs, advances are pennies, publishers don't market, one underperforming book tanks your career, and we're expected to be well-tuned brand machines on social media websites designed to suck our souls dry.

Ich wollte mir das nochmal ansehen. Habe in unserem Archiv nach Texten in Spiegel, Zeit & Z. Online, SZ, FAZ, Taz, Welt & W. Online und Bild mit "Migration" gesucht, die Daten (nicht immer exakt auf den Tag möglich) bestmöglich in die gleichen Zeiträume überführt, normalisiert und... this happened:
