I don't understand the fixation with how many books people read last year.
I mean... It entirely depends on the books' length and the reader's speed, both of which are completely irrelevant to the enjoyment of it all.

La canicule de juin 2025 a fait 2300 morts en Europe, presque 400 à Paris. Pourtant, personne n'en parle.
S'il y avait eu 20 crashs d'avion en 10 jours, ça ferait la Une de tous les JT. Là ce sont des morts du changement climatique, des morts silencieux, ignorés par les médias et politiques.
