The inhumanity and violence of these raids toward families, many of whom have fled terrible situations in their home countries to provide a better life for their children, is disturbing and sickening. It also seems to be the point. All of our neighbors deserve better.
NEW — An estimated 40 people were taken by federal agents in an overnight raid in South Shore, a predominantly-Black neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side.
A couple who live nearby said they were shocked to see the enormous militarized raid in their community.

Is anybody planning to keep track of the cost of lawsuits against the Federal Government due to the unconstitutional actions of the current administration? And assuming it’s a higher amount than previous administrations will the Democrats use it to help make their case against the MAGAs, or nah?
