Why is it so difficult for the news media and publicly elected officials to call these boat bombings "murder"?

They like to dance around it and say "possible war crimes" even though we're not at war.

The cowardice by influential people in this country is insane.

China has brought millions out of poverty. The US has not – by choice.

The UK is following the US model. Wealth concentrated in fewer hands. 24m can't attain minimum standard of living, real average wage unchanged since 2008, public services eroded, profiteering is rife.

Despite the US’s economic success, income inequality remains breathtaking. But this is no glitch – it’s the system

Britain is one of the world’s richest countries. Why do a third of children live in poverty?

It is a political choice - years of austerity, real wage cuts, regressive taxation, unchecked profiteering, disappearance of social housing, hijacking of govts by corporations/rich.
Britain is one of the world’s richest countries. So why do a third of its children live in poverty? | CNN
Child poverty has reached a record high in the United Kingdom as the country’s cost of living soars and its social security safety net falters following years of government austerity.

Most people watch television news for their source of news information.

Unfortunately it takes much more than just casually watching the television to stay informed.

For instance, how many people know that these horrific ICE roundups are profit driven?

Private Prisons
About 90 percent of people in ICE custody are held in facilities run by for-profit companies.

I want somebody to explain to me why politicians and news media pundits are saying the extra judicial killings on the high seas on those boats is legally 'questionable'?

How could they be 'questionable' when it is so blatant?

On what authority are these killings taking place?
