My daughter picks out shelter cats based on their willingness to wear doll clothes at slumber parties. So far, it's produced surprisingly good choices.

Happy Strawberry Appreciation Day! Our 12YO dressed up her cat to celebrate the anniversary of her adoption, and we had strawberry shortcake. Strawberry, as usual, was remarkably chill about being dressed up in doll clothes.
