I always wondered if there were multiple takes for those scenes and if so, how much her neck must hurt (reposted because of fumble fingers and autocorrect gibberish)

Side note to tangent: This is why a lot of "let's try out redeeming this X-villain" is hard to swallow because quite a few of them have either deliberately and knowingly tried to kill students as young as 13-14, or been fine using kids as cannon fodder.

But those "He's a villain now!" "He's a good guy now!" "So much more hardcore now!" doesn't work as well when it's supposed to be the same version of the character that's been around for decades in some cases, just further down the line.

The big exception to "you could handwave that" was Sabretooth, who was killing and raping for jollies long before Xavier died in the new timeline, but they wanted their version of a specific dynamic but wanted Logan off elsewhere so we lived with it.

Age of Apocalypse worked in part because it was the 90s and the whole "dark alternative" thing hadn't been done to death (and just...90s comics in general) and in part because of an event that changed things when most characters were either small children or hadn't been born yet

I think I watched 3-4 episodes. I remember wondering why something so well made and with so much to draw from was dull.

I had never seen Noem pre-surgery (or rather she had never properly registered-I’m sure I did at some point) and she just…looked so much better.

10-20 inches in a few hours (at 2 am!) with no opportunity for runoff makes our normal “extreme” weather look tame. And like the snowstorm a few years ago, people prepared for the “extreme” they thought was going to happen. These are also very very hill-y areas.
