I started cooking through the Les Halles cookbook by Anthony Boudain. Mostly meat focused but some good veggie dishes in there as well. The ones I’ve made so far have minimal gluten and dairy.

My non-work activity has been gaming of late while i try to rest my shoulder. Not the healthiest. Packing for an 8 day island hopping vacation though so I’m excited to get some fun in the sun after a few days in Florida with family.

This was my favorite book as a child. I cannot tell you how many times I read it and would get lost in that world. It shaped my reading preferences to this day. Every few years I still revisit this book.

This one is obvious for anyone who’s read my posts. I have always been inspired by the way Bourdain traveled, his ability to connect with people combined with his seemingly fearless way to try new things. I read this book years ago and revisit it now because I do miss his voice.
