This was my favorite book as a child. I cannot tell you how many times I read it and would get lost in that world. It shaped my reading preferences to this day. Every few years I still revisit this book.

This one is obvious for anyone who’s read my posts. I have always been inspired by the way Bourdain traveled, his ability to connect with people combined with his seemingly fearless way to try new things. I read this book years ago and revisit it now because I do miss his voice.
