Apart from the fact that the protests in Iran don’t fit into the world view of those who are the loudest in the west, it’s terrible how the Iranian government managed to suppress information coming out of Iran and how little coverage the protests get in western media.

Yes, I guess we tend to forget the part about the holy family having to flee to Egypt, because of a tyrant who was scared to lose his throne. I remember that, in my childhood, December 27th was the day of innocent children. But I haven’t heard this in a long time.

Den letzten Satz („Für Solidarität“) finde ich besonders zynisch. Was ist mit der Solidarität mit denen, die täglich unter den Luftangriffen leiden, mit denen, die alles zurücklassen müssen, um sich in Sicherheit zu bringen, nur weil das Nachbarland meint irgendwelche historische Ansprüche zu haben.
